Level Designer and Programmer

DESCRIPTION

This was an experimental project developed in two weeks with one other student for our Games Development Portfolio Project module at UWS.

 

The general concept behind the game was that you have a team of crew member trying to fix up a derelict ship you have stumbled across and you must protect them from an alien on the hunt that crawls out of random vents on each level. Throughout the game you receive radio messages that tell you the ship section the alien is lurking in and you must shine a UV light on it to draw it away before it kills a crew member.

We only had 2 levels in the finished game but had 4 planned in total with the ship sections becoming more and more complex with a difficult amount of ground to cover for the player.

The Crewmate and Alien model were both sourced but were rigged and animated by me. All of the assets were sourced from a free asset pack on the Unity asset store.
